Instagram Launches “Question Stickers” in Stories
Instagram just got even more fun!
The Facebook-owned app just launched a new engagement feature for their stories, called Question Stickers.
The stickers are available for users’ stories, and can be added by selecting one from the sticker tray.
“Add a question sticker to your story by selecting it from the sticker tray after taking a photo or video,” Instagram explained about the new feature in a statement. “Type out your prompt then place it wherever you’d like and share it to your story. When friends see the sticker, they can tap it to reply - and they can reply as many times as they want, right from the sticker.”
Some lucky users first spotted the Stories feature back in April when it was being tested, but now the feature is being rolled out to all Instagram users.
The Question Stickers will be a great asset for brands – especially because it will allow businesses to solicit feedback from their audiences in a more engaging and meaningful way. It’s a great tool for brands to ask customers what they think of their latest products or services without cluttering their newsfeed with more promotional content.
“You can find your friends’ responses in your story’s viewers list,” Instagram’s statement continued. “Tap any question they’ve asked to create a new story where you can answer it, and the question you’re answering will appear on your story for context. Though you’re able to see who submitted each response in your viewers list where it’s private, when you share that response in your story, your friend’s photo and username will not be shown.”
Seems like Instagram is truly leading the way with video content. With 400 million daily active users on the platform (and growing) it’s the perfect space for brands to interact with their audiences.
